Thelma Blanche (Iddins) Cowart

Reidsville

Thelma Iddins Cowart, age 89 passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at her home under the care of Affinis Hospice. Thelma was a member and attended Reidsville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Thelma loved her nurses and CNA’s that gave her special care. She also loved Deon for taking the time to look after both she and April.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Cowart and her daughter, Amy.

She is survived by her son, Dewayne  Cowart (Linda); daughter, April Cowart;  sister, Clara Iddins Welch; brother, Charlie Iddins (Joan); two grandchildren, DuAnn Cowart Davis (Lee) and Jeb Cowart (Gloria); five great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A visitation will be held beginning at 3:00pm Sunday, October 25, 2015 with a memorial service to follow at 3:30pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Reidsville.
