Tony Allen Harper, Jr.

Mr. Tony Allen Harper, Jr. , age 37, passed away Tuesday, May, 31, 2016.  The Metter native had lived in Tattnall and Toombs Counties all of his life.  He was the maintenance supervisor at the Hampton Inn in Vidalia.  He loved hunting, fishing and working on his cars.  Tony was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Franklin and Mary Jeanette Wilson Anderson; paternal grandparents,  JC and Geraldine Bland Harper; uncles, Michael Harper Paul Stanfield, and Ronnie Wilson; aunts, Judy Wilson and Debbie Wilson; step brother, Jay Burkhalter.

He is survived by his parents, Christine (Richard)Thomas and Tony (Janice) Harper all of Lyons; children, Michael Gillis Harper, Jaycee Harper, Christian Harper, and Gracie Harper; step children, Harmony, Cadance, and Trista Frank; siblings, Shawn Harper of Lyons, and Christy Brinson of Soperton; numerous nieces and nephews; other family members and friends also survive..

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory.  Funeral services will be private.
