Collins,
Mr. Troy Williams age 76, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his residence. The Tattnall county native had lived in Bloomingdale many years before moving back to Collins ten years ago. He was a retired Boilermaker with Savannah Shipyard. He was a member of the Reidsville Lions Club, Richard T. Turner Lodge #116 F&A.M., and the Scottish Rite. Mr. Williams was a Fireman with the Bloomingdale Fire Department, and a member of Rodgers Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Scarlett Williams.
Mr. Williams is survived by two daughters, Nancy Rogers(Henry Glisson) and Patricia Williams all of Pooler; two sisters Gladys Myrick of Reidsville, and Annie Mae Love of Bloomingdale; four grandchildren Pamela Pawloski, Ashley Rogers, Amanda Rogers, and Anna Rogers; four great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Troy Williams will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 from the Bradley B Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel.
Interment will follow in Little Flock Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
