Vance Lee Smith, Jr.

Claxton
Vance Smith, age 76 passed away Monday,
April 21, 2014 at his residence. The Reidsville
native had lived most of his life in Bulloch and
Evans Counties. He was a Vietnam veteran that
had served in the US Army and was retired
from Claxton Poultry. He was preceded in death
by his wife, Betty Bennett Smith; sons, Richard Dale Smith and Vincent Lamar
Smith; daughter, Angela Marie Smith; parents, Vance and Jessie Mae Cason Smith.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Amanda) Smith of Claxton; daughters, Vickie Lee Smith of Claxton, Christina Manuel Smith of Germany, Rebecca Kate Rushing, Stephanie Eldred, Morgan Eldred all of Claxton; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin 6:00pm, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Bradley B. Anderson
Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00pm, Thursday from the Reidsville Chapel with the Reverend Michael Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors rendered by the US Army.
Pallbearers will be Adam Hester, Daniel Noel, Logan Brewster, John Rushing,
Sr., Morgan Eldred, Preston Rushing, Jr., Benjamin Croft, John David Rushing, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the burial fund, P.O. Box 488, Reidsville, GA.
