Velma Sue Smith

Obituary

Velma Sue Smith, age 54 entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Lottie Pickett of Patterson, GA.

Velma leaves to cherish her memories, four brothers, Joseph Pickett, Jr., Thomas Pickett, Ardis Pickett and Dennis Pickett. Three sisters, Beverly Pickett Oliver, Carolyn Pickett Marsh, and Annie Lee Pickett Wallace. A devoted Friend Bernard Mutcherson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to the service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at St. John Baptist Church in Savannah. Interment will be private.
