Virginia Floyd age 69 passed away Saturday September 17, 2011 at the Community Hospice Inpatient Center. The Beaufort, SC native had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was a floral designer and very talented when it came to arts and crafts. She loved to read and crochet. Virginia was a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, G.C. and Winona Floyd and a son, Gary W. Tanner.
She is survived by:
Her daughters, Jane E. Harris and Mary C. Tanner both of Reidsville
Brother, Grover C. Floyd III of South Carolina
Two grandchildren, Dustin R. Harris and Abbie Tanner both of Reidsville
Two nephews, Grover Floyd, IV of Colorado
Marc Floyd of Collins
Visitation will be begin 6:00pm Monday September 19, 2011 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday September 20, 2011 from the McIntosh Family Cemetery in McIntosh County.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel is serving the Floyd family.
