Virginia "Sug" (Eason) Kicklighter

Mrs. Virginia "Sug" Eason Kicklighter, age 93, passed away on Monday November 24th, 2014 at Gentilly Gardens in Statesboro. The Reidsville native had lived in Tattnall County all her life where she was a faithful member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church and Sunday School Class; a member of the DAR, and Rascalettes.  Mrs. Kicklighter received her Bachelors of Science in Education from Georgia Southern University and later received a Master’s Degree from the University of Georgia.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael W. & Gertrude Cobb Eason, her husbands, Jenarel Shuman and Cyril L. Kicklighter, her daughter, Angela S. Kappes and her son, Francis "Johnny" Shuman.

She is survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 11:00am, December 20, 2014 from the Reidsville United Methodist Church with the Reverend Marc Foster officiating.
