Obituary
Virginia “Cookie” Agner
, age 60 passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at her residence. The Baltimore native had lived in Georgia for the past nineteen years. In Baltimore, she was a telephone operator for many years and in Georgia she worked at Reidsville Middle School and Oxford Industries. Cookie was a member of the Reidsville AA Group and was very proud of her sobriety of seventeen years. She was also a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church in Lyons. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Ruth Harmon.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Alvin Agner of Lyons; Daughter and son-in-law, Fontella and Chuck Armstrong of Baltimore; Sons, Troy John Martin of Summerville , GA, Alvin Russell Agner of Macon,
Brandon Lloyd
Agner of Jacksonville, FL;
Brothers, Jimmy (Lia) Harmon of Sarasota, FL;
Greg (Evelyn) Harmon of Baltimore;
Grandchildren, Charles Armstrong, Lance and Zachary Martin and Samantha Grace Agner;
Special Cousin, Doug Kaminski of Baltimore.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 5:00pm Thursday, February 2, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend JD Fowler officiating. Interment will be private.
