Vivian Colleen (DeLoach) Smith

Mrs. Vivian Colleen Smith, age 87, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Meadows Regional Medical Center.  The Glennville native had lived in Florida before moving back to this area fifty years ago.  She was a homemaker that loved to go fishing, crocheting, and doing puzzle books and collecting cookbooks.  She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt DeLoach and Ola Mae Ferrell; husband, Martin Smith; and a son, Jerry Cramer.

She is survived by her children, Libby (Jim) Henderson of Norfolk, VA, John Rushing and Preston Rushing both of Collins; siblings, Paul (Audrey) DeLoach of West Monroe, LA and Sylvia Brannen of Glennville; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with Mrs. Smith’s wishes there will be a private memorial service at a later date.
