Collins,
Wanda Uldene “Mrs. Dean” Singleton Scott, age 94, passed away Thursday March 19, 2020 at Camellia Health in Claxton. She was born April 25, 1925 to Earvin and Ruvan Dillard Singleton and had lived in Collins most of her life. Mrs. Dean was a bookkeeper for many years for Joseph Evans Furniture in Collins. She was also a seamstress but took great pride in being the family caretaker. She was awarded the Collins Citizen of the Year and was a lifetime member of Collins Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles P. Scott; siblings, Earl Singleton, Joe Singleton, Hazel Singleton and Lucille Evans; grandson, Christopher Scott.
She is survived by her sons, Joe Terry Scott and his wife, Patricia and Charles Jan Scott (Lessie Barron); grandchildren, Patrick and his wife Kittye Scott, Stephanie and her husband, Mike Ivy, and Angel Clark (Sarah Hobbs); great grandchildren, Katie Scott, Ashleigh Ivy, Elliott and Lizzie Clark, several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends beginning at 2:00pm, Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Collins United Methodist Church with a memorial service to follow at 2:30pm. Inurnment will follow the service at Collins Baptist Church Cemetery.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the family of Mrs. Wanda Uldene Scott.
