Mr. Wayne Hollis Davis, age 63, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. surrounded by his loving family.  He was born January 8 ,1958 in Savannah to Hollis and Wadine Davis and had lived in Wayne County most of his life.  He worked in the roofing industry for 44 years and loved to go fishing and hunting.  Wayne was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Alan (Tabatha) Davis of Reidsville, April (Mark) Gaudette of Palm City, FL, Christina (James) Lemon of Polk City, FL, and Dallas (Michael) Hunt of Blackshear; sisters, Marsha Monkiewicz of Texas, Faye Lively of Statesboro, Bobby Davis of Sylvania; his best friend, Luther Durden of Jesup, 12 grandchildren, several nieces and nepehws.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Reverend Larry Harris officiating.
