Obituary

Wilbert “Ray” Harper , age 77, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Tattnall Health Care Center under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.  The Toombs County native had lived in Florida many years moving to Cobbtown 25 years ago. Ray loved reading and especially the comics. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Estelle Lynn Harper.

He is survived by his Aunt, Ruth McMillian of Swainsboro. Caretakers, W.L. and Betty Sikes of Cobbtown.

Numerous cousins also survive.

Visitation and Services

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from the Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown with the Reverend Sterling Bargeron officiating.
