Willa Mae Middleton, born on June 23, 1947, peacefully passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 76. Willa Mae was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering faith.
 
Willa Mae dedicated her professional life to serving others as a cashier and waitress. Her warm smile and friendly demeanor made her a beloved figure among colleagues and customers alike.
 
Outside of her work, Willa Mae had a passion for thrift shopping, hand sewing, and painting. She found joy in these simple pleasures and shared her creations with those she loved. She was also an avid bingo player, delighting in the game and the community it brought. Above all, Willa Mae was devoted to witnessing about the blessings and miracles she experienced through her faith, always eager to share what God had done for her.
 
Willa Mae was a faithful member of the Pentecostals of Brunswick for 15 years, and prior to that, she was deeply involved with the Cornerstone UPC in Jesup. Her church communities were a source of strength and fellowship for her, and she cherished the friendships and spiritual growth she found there.
 
Willa Mae is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Gladys Rhymes; her sisters, Gladys Thompson (Robert) and Lillian Smith; her brothers, Quincy Rhymes, Arthur Rhymes, and JW Rhymes; her son, Henry (Buddy) Foster; and her grandson, Bradley Crews.
 
She is survived by her loving daughter, Melinda Holland; her devoted son, Junior Manuel; her daughter-in-law, Stacy Foster (Buddy Foster); her brother, Cleon Rhymes, and sister-in-law, Faye Rhymes. Willa Mae also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and a great-niece, Carisa Welch Ray. Her grandchildren, Shawn Crews (Christina), Ben Foster (Ashley), and Josh Foster, along with her great-grandchildren, Noah Crews, Phoenix, Paisley, Piper, and Palmer Crews, Uriah and Jubilee Manuel, and Henry Foster, will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Additionally, she is remembered by numerous other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
 
Willa Mae's life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and resilience. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness and devotion will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
 
A service celebrating Willa Mae's life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Pentecostals of Brunswick, 5608 New Jesup Highway, Brunswick, GA.  
 
Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Middleton family during their period of mourning.
