Mr. Willard Gerrell Arnold, Sr. , age 69 of Reidsville passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.  The Alma native had lived in Tattnall County most of his life.  He was a farmer and worked for Mosley Tire for many years.  Mr. Arnold enjoyed fishing and playing dominoes and poker.  He is preceded in death by  his parents, James Cullen and Inez Arnold; son, Willard Gerrell Arnold, Jr; siblings, James Cullen Arnold, Jr, Donnie Columbus Arnold, Roger Arnold, Pamela Fay Graves, Gedone Arnold, Janet K. Arnold and Angel Arnold.

He is survived by his wife, Mealita S. Arnold of Reidsville; children, Shirley Arnold of Reidsville, Marie Arnold of Glennville, and Bobby Lee Arnold of Reidsville; step children, Earnie McGlashan and Jimbo McGlashan both of Cobbtown, Jamie Collins of Reidsville, and Jason Littleton of Oak Park; siblings, Ronald (Julie) Arnold, Annette Spikes both of Reidsville, and Anglee Arnold of SC; several grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with Mr. Arnold’s wishes he will be cremated with no services planned.
