William Boyette

William “Billy” Warner Boyette went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 19, 2016. William was born on April 7, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia to William R. and Dorothy Boyette. He attended Jim Cherry Elementary School, where he graduated at the top of his class, and Cross Keys High School in Atlanta. He excelled in sports, earning a varsity letter jacket in cross country running during his first year of high school. He also attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia. William moved to Bainbridge, Georgia in 1987, and then to Reidsville, Georgia in 2007.

William was a very devout Christian of the Methodist faith. He remained strong in his faith during his courageous battle against mental illness since his teens. He will be remembered as a caring son, brother, and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

William is survived by his brother, Jimmy Boyette, sister-in-law, Lisa Boyette, and two nephews, Zach and Sam Boyette.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 23, at 3:00 PM at: North Atlanta Memorial Park 5188 Winters Chapel Rd. Atlanta, GA 30360

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the AIM Center for Mental Health at:  AIM Center Inc. 472 W M L King Boulevard Chattanooga, TN 37402.
