William E. Edwards, age 60 passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He was a native of Daytona Beach Florida and was born on October 1, 1956. Pops spent his life as a fisherman, turtle hunter, beach bum, river rat and frisbee tosser. He was an animal lover, the original crocodile hunter and snake wrangler. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Anna and Jerry Graham.
He is survived by his son, William “Bob” Edwards and his wife, Stephanie Reed Edwards; daughter, Alyssa LaBrie and her husband, Keaton LaBrie; brothers, Dennis (Frankie) Watts, Robert (Mary) Edwards; sister, Sharon Edwards; niece, Cindy (Michael) Reddish, their children, Travis and Kasey Reddish; grandchildren, Greydon Edwards, Reed Edwards and Madison LaBrie.
A visitation with family will begin at 5:00pm, Friday, July 7, 2017 at Gordonia Altamaha group shelter with services to follow at 6:00pm.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to The Scott Coopersmith Stroke Awareness Foundation, www.strokeawarenessfoundation.org or checks can be mailed to 344 Old Alemany Place Oviedo, Fl 32765.
