William Alexander Rooker
November 21, 1934 — February 12, 2015

William Alexander Rooker, age 80 passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at his residence. He was a Staff Sergeant, serving 16 1/2 years in the US Marine Corps and a former Bluffton Police Chief along with being an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee Rooker; sons, Kenneth (Darlene) Rooker of Bloomingdale, GA., Donald D. Rooker of Bluffton and George T. Rooker of Bluffton; grandchildren, Benjamin (Lori) Rooker, William Rooker and Ashley (Louis) Prescott; 6 great-grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Inurnment will be conducted 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Beaufort National Cenetery will military honors rendered by the US Marine Corps.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Rooker family.
