William "Billy" Hancock

William “Billy” Hancock, age 62, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.  The Massachusetts native had lived in Georgia most of his life.  He had a passion for music, automobiles, drag racing, and collectibles.  He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Hancock and his mother, Ruth Jodoin.

Billy is survived by his children, Amanda Anderson of Gainesville, Fl, Michelle Curtis of Ridgeland, SC, William Hancock II of Jackson, SC, and Michael Hancock of Dawsonville, GA; step children, Heather, Shari, and Allen Street all of Dawsonville; mother of his children, Robyn Nicholson Hancock of Jackson, SC; sister, Donna Tumlinson of Texas; step father, Lenny Jodoin of Arizona; six grandchildren, nine step grandchildren.

Billy was well-loved by his family.  He lived life with one pedal on the metal and the other on the bass.

Memorial funeral services will be announced at a later date.
