William "Brad" Thompson

Mr. William Bradley Thompson (Brad), age 53, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at his home after an extended illness.  Brad had lived in Reidsville most of his life and was employed with Sanders and Sanders, Inc. for 35 years.  He loved going to the river, fishing, riding four wheelers, oyster roast, low country boils and spending time with family and friends.  Brad is preceded in death by his father, William Thompson (Bill), mother, Hazel Smith Thompson, sisters, Beverly Wilson, Bonnell Manuel and Becky Anderson , and step sister, Lisa Knight.

Brad is survived by his wife, Michelle Thompson, daughter  Brandy West; sons, Brent and Brandon Thompson; step daughter, Krystal  Sargent;  step son Dewayne Sargeant; 6 grandchildren; step mother, Tommie Hayslipp Thompson; step sisters, Judy (Paul) Copeland and Kathy Bush; step brother, Randy Bush; brother in-laws, Dale Wilson, Thomas Manuel and Danny Anderson.  Several  nieces and nephews.

Brad is also survived by his “adopted” family, Wendell and Kathy Sanders, Michael Willis, Shane and Canda Arnold, Christy Durrence, Eddie and Kimberly King, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at 11:00 on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial.  The service will follow at 12:00 with Brother Andrew Nelms  officiating the service.

Honorary pallbearers , Shane Arnold, Eddie King, Charlie Conner, Anthony James, Devin Durrence and Justin Stanfield.

In lieu of the flowers the family has asked for donations to help with the funeral expenses.
