Windell Mock

Reidsville/Metter,

Windell “Papa Windell” Mock age 67, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.  The Baxley native had lived in Reidsville many years before moving to Metter a year ago.  He was a farmer that loved to go fishing and hunting.  Windell is preceded in death by his parents, Mousey Mock and Cora Mae Horton; siblings, Earl Mock, James Mock, Wayne Mock and Pam Powell.

He is survived by his daughter, Wendy (Joey) Frost of Metter; son, Jerome (Sandra) Mock of Reidsville; sisters, Peggy (Bob) Maloney of St. Helena, SC and Brenda (Jimmy) Ray of Rincon; grandchildren, Candace Beasley, Dustin, Dylan, and Tristin Frost, Michael, Josh, and Caleb Brown; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 6:00pm from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Monday, April 13, 2015 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Larry Spence officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Zach Martin, Brandon Martin, John Frost, Jr., Shane, Corey and Jason Powell.
