Yolanda Williams, age 75 passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Fairview Park Hospital. She was born on September 4, 1946 in Montgomery, West Virginia to Uyless and Virginia Newsome Truman. She was a faithful employee of BILJO, Inc. for almost 20 years until its dissolution. During the latter part of her employment, she proudly worked in quality control. At nearly 56 years of age, she went on to obtain her GED and CNA certification. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She is now in the arms of the everlasting Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Patrick Williams; daughter, Cathy Spires; brother, JR Truman; mother-in-law, Inez Williams; brothers-in-law, Neil Warren and Johnny Williams; sister-in law, Dora Williams; grandson, Asher Lindsey.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her two children, Steven (Nicole) Spires and Pamela (Dustin) Lindsey; four grandchildren, Cole (Graci) Spires, Cade Spires, Abi Lindsey, and Aden Lindsey; three sisters, Shannon (Donnie) Wilkes, Jane (Jason) Moore, and Ruth Warren; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service for Mrs. Yolanda Williams will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Dexter Assembly of God in Dexter, GA with the Reverend Brad Nowell and Reverend Steven Beck officiating.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Williams family.
