Robert B. Hutcheson

Mr. Robert B. Hutcheson, age 82, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at his daughter’s home in Baxley.  He was born in Reidsville on November 25, 1939, to Doster and Hattie Toler Hutcheson and had lived in Tattnall County all of his life.  He was a 1958 Reidsville High School Graduate.  Mr. Robert married the love of his life Mary Grace Wilkes in 1960.  They had a wonderful 56 years of marriage until Mrs. Mary Grace’s death in 2016.  There hasn’t been a day in the past 5 years that he hasn’t grieved for Mrs. Mary Grace.  Mr. Robert served in the National Guard and was the owner and operator of Hutcheson’s Auto Parts where he was a Parts Wholesale Distributor for over 30 years.  He was all about his family.  He enjoyed supporting and watching them grow.  He also enjoyed camping and going to Clark Hill.  He was a member of the Reidsville Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, wife and a son, Robert Brett Hutcheson.

He is survived by his children, Shea (Eddie) Cleland of Baxley and Brett Hutcheson, Jr. of Reidsville; grandchildren, Layne (Falone) Parker of Baxley, Cody (Maci) Parker of Ball Ground, Chad (Amanda) Cleland of Baxley, Levi (Victoria) Hutcheson of Reidsville and Courtney (Ryan) Bohannon of Reidsville; great grandchildren, Braden, Logan, Liam, Cara, Kate, Ellie, Cade, Mason and Jackson all of Baxley, Kaeleigh, Carson, Carmen, Caiden, Greyson and Robert all of Reidsville

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Dr. Charles Jonas officiating.  Interment will follow in the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad Cleland, Layne Parker, Cody Parker, Levi Hutcheson, Braden Parker, and Rusty Hutcheson.

Memorials may be given to the Reidsville Baptist Church, Post Office Box 181, Reidsville, GA 30453.
